Just the first six, but that's enough to tell I'e seen nothing like Jem before.
I'm used to 80s cartoons being episodic, so I kept expecting Jem to develop a formula. I figured after the first time the Misfits threw the kid in the pic under the bus and Stormer saved her, she always would. It blew me away that the second time Stormer tried to save her, the other Misfits caught on and stopped her.

I liked the first season and the third season. In the second season, they started doing some really weird things like ~~time travel and saving the president and meeting Bigfoot~~.

I liked Riot and the Stingers, but it's too bad that their showing up caused the Misfits to be mostly shoved into the background when they were around.

Or well, the most ones of the highest quality.

I mean, I think The Day The Music Died is the high point of the show, but people will generally answer with either The Bands Break Up or Out of the Past. And there is so much revelaing stuff in season 2.

Although I bet the tipping point for everyone is the end of The Music Awards. When everyone realizes what a brilliant, unmatched cartoon Jem is.

Maybe. I dunno, I suspect they would ditch the setting and modernize it because they figure kids today don't care about the 80s. My nieces like the show, which is a small sample size, sure, but they don't have any problems watching a cartoon that aired when their mom was younger than they are now.

80s hair and 80s makeup and the Futuristic Field of Hologram Technology are integral to the feel of the series. And now I wonder if a remake could find a cameo role for Robert Picardo to play a hologram.

Whether or not they can make a new reboot series is going to depend on whether or not they think they can make a new toy line profitable.

There's the Integrity Toys collectors line with them costing $120 each, but there's not enough of a market for that for them to run a new cartoon off of.
